President of Republic Receives a Team of Enumerators to Count his Family Members

On Monday 25 December, and within the framework of the fifth general census of population and housing that our country began to conduct, His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, received, at his residence in the Presidential Palace, a team of young enumerators, to count family members.

His Excellency spontaneously insisted on registering with his family members in the same way that is done with all citizens, which carries very symbolic connotations that reflect the necessity of everyone’s participation in this statistical process, as well as His Excellency’s special interest in ensuring its best success. Its outputs will form the basis of development planning for public policies in the coming years, and all related bets.
