Dakar: President of Republic Meets With Japanese Prime Minister

On 27 November, in Dakar, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, met with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on the sidelines of the ninth session of the Dakar International Forum on Peace and Security.

During the meeting, the Head of State exchanged views with the Japanese Prime Minister on issues of common interest and on ways to develop and strengthen bilateral relations.

It is noteworthy that His Excellency, the President of the Republic, delivered a speech at the forum in which he addressed many subjects that contribute to the prosperity and development of the African continent, highlighting the importance of the theme of this edition of the Forum “Africa: Potential and solutions to face security challenges and institutional instability”.
