President of Republic Lays Foundation Stone for Construction of Public Bodies, Sports Stadiums

On 23 November, in Nouakchott, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, oversaw the laying of the foundation stone to begin work on the completion of 4 projects related to the construction of two headquarters for the Economic, Social, and Environmental Council, the Supreme Press and Broadcasting Authority, and two sports stadiums, one of which is in Dar Naim and the other in Tayarett.

At each station, His Excellency, the President of the Republic, received explanations about the technical methods to be adopted in constructing these facilities, the quality and characteristics of each facility, its capacity, and the addition it provides in its field of specialization.

The total cost of these projects, whose implementation is supervised by the Ministry of Housing, Urbanism, and Land Reclamation and which are part of the activities commemorating the 63rd anniversary of National Independence Day, amounts to approximately MRU 350 million from the state budget.
