President of Republic Receives European Businessmen Delegation

On 26 October, in Brussels, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, received a delegation of European businessmen.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss investment opportunities in Mauritania, the business climate, and the particularly encouraging framework for investment in the country.

Earlier, he delivered a speech during a session on the energy transition and green hydrogen as part of the Global Gateway Forum organized by the European Union, during which he reviewed the potential and opportunities offered by Mauritania in the field of renewable energies. He called on Africa to occupy the place it deserves in this field, considering the renewable energy sources at its disposal.

It should be noted that the Global Gateway Forum, organized by the European Union in Brussels, saw a significant presence of Heads of State and Government and representatives of international financial institutions, the private sector, and civil society.
