Minister Delegate to Foreign Affairs: We call on the International Community to Provide Protection for the Palestinian People and Double Efforts to Obtain their Legitimate rights

The Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, in charge of Mauritanians Abroad, Mohamed Yahya Said, said that the escalation in the Palestinian territories is an inevitable result of the continuous provocations and systematic violations of the rights of the Palestinian people and the sanctity of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

He explained in a speech before the emergency session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level, which was held on Wednesday at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League in Cairo, that the absence of hope and the blockage of prospects for a just solution to the Palestinian issue generates tension and feeds the spiral of violence in the region, which limits the margins of diplomatic action and the possibility of achieving political solutions.

He called on the international community to assume its responsibilities, take the necessary measures for an immediate ceasefire in the occupied Palestinian territories, protect the Palestinian people, and double the efforts so that the Palestinians obtain all legitimate rights based on the various international conventions and the two-state solution.
