Oil Minister Expresses Mauritania’s Sincere Solidarity With Morocco After Earthquake

On 19 September, in Marrakech (Morocco), Mr. Nani Ould Chrougha, the Minister of Oil, Mines, and Energy, expressed the sincere solidarity of Mauritania and its compassion to the brotherly Kingdom of Morocco after the earthquake which struck the country.

The Minister, who is participating in the work of the third edition of the International Summit on green hydrogen and its applications, affirmed that given his long personal experience in this field and the great capacities that Mauritania has to produce this material, he did not want this event to eclipse the transmission of the message of sincere solidarity and compassion from the His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, President of the Republic, from the Mauritanian government and people to the brotherly Kingdom of Morocco, His Majesty the King , the Moroccan government and people, following the earthquake that struck the country.

“I extend my most sincere condolences and compassion, on behalf of His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, to the Kingdom of Morocco, the King, the Moroccan government and people, while imploring Allah the Almighty to arm the families of the victims with patience and courage, grant the injured a speedy recovery, and protect the people of the Kingdom of Morocco from any misfortune.”, as Mr. Nani Ould Chrougha put it.
