Prime Minister Receives Participants in Consultative Meeting of Sahel, Sudan Ulemas

On 21 June, the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messoud, received a delegation of participants in the consultative meeting of Sahelian and Sudanese Ulemas held in Nouakchott on 19 and 20 June 2023, aimed at bringing peace to the sisterly Republic of Sudan.

The meeting addressed various issues related to the search for a peaceful and urgent solution to the crisis in this brotherly country and the need to take urgent measures to help refugees and people displaced by acts of mutual violence. It also called on the conflicting parties to prioritize the general interest and preserve Sudan as a unified state.
