President of Republic Returns to Nouakchott From Cairo

On 6 June, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, arrived in Nouakchott from Cairo, after having paid a friendly and working visit to the Arab Republic of’Egypt.

His Excellency the President of the Republic was welcomed at Nouakchott Oumtounsy International Airport by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Bilal Messoud, the Minister Counselor at the Presidency of the Republic, several members of the government, the Wali of Western Nouakchott, and the Vice President of the Nouakchott region.

His Excellency the President of the Republic was accompanied during this trip by a large delegation including Messrs.:

-Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad;

-Mohamed Ould Abidine Ould Maayif, the Minister of Fisheries and Maritime Economy;

-Yahya Ould Ahmed El Waghf, the Minister of Agriculture;

-Mohamed Lemine Ould Aboye Ould Cheikh El Hadrami, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research;

– Sidi Mohamed Abdallahi, the Ambassador of Mauritania in Cairo;

-Ahmed Salem Ould Fadel, an Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic;

-Sidi Mohamed Ould Ghaber, an Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic;

-El Hacen Ould Ahmed, the Director General of State Protocol;

-Mohamed Zeine El Abidine Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the President of the National Union of Mauritanian Employers.
