Minister of Finance Receives BMICE Delegation

On 30 May, in Nouakchott, the Minister of Finance, Mr. Isslamou Ould Mohamed M’badi, received a delegation from the Maghreb Bank for Investment and Foreign Trade (BMICE), led by Mr. Abdelghani Ayatt Akhlaf, its Deputy Director General.

The meeting was an opportunity for a rich and fruitful exchange on the excellent relations between Mauritania and this regional financial institution whose financing for the national economy exceeded 20 million dollars.

During the meeting, the Minister affirmed our country’s permanent support for this financial institution, which is an essential tool for achieving the economic integration of our Maghreb region.

Ould Mohamed M’Badi instructed the delegation to implement BMICE’s new strategy effectively to fulfill its noble mission following its founding texts.

In turn, Mr. Akhlaf thanked the Mauritanian government for its support for the bank, which has enabled it to overcome the obstacles it has faced.
