On 24 March, HE Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Salem Mohamed Rara presented to Ms. Draupadi Murmo, the President of the Republic of India, his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Republic of India residing in Abu Dhabi.

During a ceremony organized on the occasion, the Ambassador conveyed to the President of the Republic of India the greetings of the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, and his desire to develop bilateral relations between the two countries. HE the President of India welcomed the message of the President of the Republic and his aspiration to strengthen relations between the two countries in the fields of economy and development in general to serve the interests of the brotherly people of Mauritania and India.
