Mauritania Offers Condolences to Syrian Arab Republic

Mauritania expressed its condolences to the Syrian Arab Republic, following the deadly earthquake that hit today the north of the country.

The condolences came in a communique issued by the ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad. Here is the full text of the communique:

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad expresses its sincerest condolences to the government and people of Syria, following the deadly earthquake that hit the north of the country.

As the Mauritanian government shares the pain of the families’ victims, the injured, and the affected by this catastrophe, we implore Allah the Almighty to have mercy upon the deceased and grant the injured a speedy recovery ”.
