Prime Minister Receives Turkish Ambassador

On 13 January, in Nouakchott, the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messaoud, received HE. Akif Mounavis, the Ambassador of Turkey to Mauritania.

The talks focused on the cooperation and partnership relations between the two countries and the ways and means likely to strengthen them.

They also addressed Turkey’s participation as an Islamic country in the festive activities of the declaration of Nouakchott as the capital of culture in the Islamic world in 2023.
