Minister of Livestock Receives UNDP Resident Representative

On 23 December, in Nouakchott, the Minister of Livestock, Mr. Mohamed Ould Abdellahi Ould Ethmane, received Mr. Mansour N’diaye, the Resident Representative of the UN Development Program (UNDP) to Mauritania.
The meeting focused on the presentation of the experts who will support the development of the national strategy program currently being planned in the country.
During the meeting, the minister insisted on the importance of the support that the UNDP can provide to the Ministry in terms of supervision by sending experts specialized in livestock. He stressed that the department is modernizing the methods of its program through a participatory approach with breeders and investors to achieve urgent and direct production.
