Mauritanian, Senegalese Chiefs of Staff Visit Nouakchott Friendship Port

On 13 December, Major General Mokhtar Bolla Chaabane, The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, accompanied by his Senegalese counterpart, General Cheikh Wade, who is currently visiting our country, visited the Autonomous Port of Nouakchott, known as the Friendship Port.
The delegation was welcomed at the entrance of the Port by its general manager Mr. Ahmed Salem Mohamed Vall Ammi, surrounded by his collaborators at the level of the central administration of the Port.
The director welcomed the members of the delegation before reviewing the main axes of the mission of the port institution, in addition to a brief reminder of the latest developments in the services provided.
The delegation toured the various departments of the establishment, including the two quays of the Port, the one to the north, 585 meters long, and the one to the south, 450 meters long, where they received detailed explanations on the economic role of this institution which links our country to the outside world by the sea.
