President of Republic Receives European Council President

On 20 November, in Nouakchott, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, received Mr. Charles Michel, the President of the European Council.
The President of the Republic held a private session of talks with the European official before expanding it to include the members of the two accompanying delegations.
The talks touched on the relations of cooperation between our country and the European Union and ways to enhance them in various fields to serve common interests.
