Mauritanian Ambassador to Benin Presents Credentials

On 11 November, HE Mr. Sidaty Ould Cheikh Ould Ahmed Aicha presented to His Excellency Patrice Talon, the President of the Republic of Benin, the letters accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Republic of Benin.
During the presentation of the credentials, Mr. Ould Ahmed Aicha conveyed the greetings of His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, to his brother and friend, His Excellency Patrice Talon.
He also highlighted the vital interest that Mauritania attaches to strengthening the relations of cooperation and friendship that bind the two countries.
In turn, the President of Benin instructed the Ambassador to convey his greetings to His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, and, through him, to the Mauritanian people.
