Fisheries Minister Meets With US Ambassador

On 9 November, in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Ould Abidine Ould M’Ayif, the Minister of Fisheries and Maritime Economy, met with HE. Cynthia Kirscht, the Ambassador of the United States of America to Mauritania.
The meeting focused on cooperation between Mauritania and USA, particularly in fisheries and the maritime economy.
Discussions between the two parties also addressed ways to ease the conditions for the entry of Mauritanian products into American markets, in addition to cooperation in scientific research and maritime surveillance.
