Economic Affairs Minister Returns to Nouakchott From Washington

On 22 October, Mr. Ousmane Mamoudou Kane, the Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors returned to Nouakchott on Saturday from Washington after taking part in meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund held from 10 to 16 October 2022.
These meetings discussed several important issues, including the outlook for the global economy, ways to fight poverty, and solutions to the world’s food and energy crisis.
On the sidelines of the meetings, Mr. Kane had talks with senior officials from several countries and international organizations to strengthen economic cooperation between Mauritania and these states and organizations.
