Minister of Livestock Meets With German Ambassador
On 20 October, in Nouakchott, the Minister of Livestock, Mr. Mohamed Ould Abdallahi Ould Ethmane, received HE Ms. Isabelle Henin, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Mauritania.
The meeting focused on the cooperation relations between Mauritania and the Federal Republic of Germany and the means to strengthen and develop them, particularly in livestock and animal health.

Mr. Ould Ethmane briefed the German Ambassador on the importance of the Livestock Department in government policy and the electoral program of His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, the President of the Republic. He added that his department aims to modernize the sector, increase its productivity, and create an environment conducive to the development of animal development systems.
Ms. Henin expressed her readiness to support the department’s efforts to promote this sector.
