Minister of Health Receives US Ambassador

On 27 September, in Nouakchott, the Minister of Health, Mr. Moktar Ould Dahi, received HE Ms. Cynthia Kircht, the US Ambassador to Mauritania.
The meeting focused on cooperation between Mauritania and the United States in the health field.
The talks also touched on the prospects for bilateral cooperation, particularly in the fight against COVID-19, the capacity building of the national health system, and the promotion of exchanges and transfers of expertise between the health teams of the two friendly countries.
