President of Republic Receives Algerian Prime Minister

On 14 September, in Nouakchott, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, received His Excellency the Algerian Prime Minister, Mr. Aimene Benabderrahmane.
The talks touched on areas of cooperation between the two countries and ways to enhance it in various fields to achieve the common interests of the two brotherly people.
In a statement to the Mauritanian news agency, shortly after the meeting, His Excellency the Algerian Prime Minister explained that he had the honor to be received by the President of the Republic, where he conveyed to him the greetings of his brother, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and the expression of love, brotherhood, and determination to move forward in establishing a sincere partnership in all fields, a partnership based on trust between the two countries, a partnership that will allow the people of the two countries to move forward toward new horizons of exchanges and cooperation in all fields. He noted that this ambition was expressed by the two leaders during the visit of His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, to Algeria, and his talks with Mr. President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
He added that what was achieved by the Algerian-Mauritanian Higher Joint Committee reflects the directives of the leaders of the two countries. He pointed out that he had informed the President of the Republic, during the meeting, of the contents of all the meetings held by experts and ministers, which culminated in the signing of 26 agreements that affected all sectors.
Mr. Benabderrahmane stressed that, during the meeting, he listened to the directives of the President of the Republic and conveyed his true and sincere greetings to his brother, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, wishing success for the relations and for the Arab Summit, which he confirmed that he would be among the first to attend it.
