National Defense Minister Meets MINUSMA Delegation

The Minister of National Defense, Mr. Hanenna Ould Sidi, held Monday a meeting with a delegation from the United Nations Multidimensional Mission for Peace in Mali “MINUSMA”, headed by Mr. El Ghassim Wane, Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations for Mali.

This meeting, which took place in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Ministry of National Defense, Mr. Cheikh Diallo, falls within the framework of the delegation’s visit to our country on November 8 and 9.

The United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali was established was established on 25 April 2013 by United Nations Security Council Resolution 2100 to support the political processes in Mali and implement some security-related tasks.
