The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, held a bilateral meeting with the French minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian, on the sidelines of the second ministerial meeting between the African Union and the European Union, which is currently being held in the Rwandan capital Kigali on 25-26 October.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed various aspects of the existing cooperation between the two countries, as well as all issues of concern to the region in general. The meeting characterized by positivity and prospects for cooperation and the importance of strengthening and developing it.
