Finance Minister Meets French Expertise Agency Representative

The Minister of Finance, Mr. Codioro Moussa N’Guenore, received Ms. Mélanie Xuereb, Regional Representative of the French Expertise Agency for West and Central Africa on Thursday, at his office in Nouakchott, on the occasion of her visit to Mauritania.
The meeting reviewed Mauritania-France cooperation in public finance reform, highlighting achievements under programs supported by France and the EU since 2017, including PAGFAM through 2027. Discussions focused on mobilizing domestic resources, modernizing public finance management, and institutional transformation, reaffirming both sides’ commitment to strengthening the partnership and supporting Mauritania’s reforms.
