Mauritanian President Participates in Third Russia-Africa Summit in Moscow

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, took part on Thursday, in the proceedings of the Third Russia-Africa Summit, held in the Russian capital, Moscow, under the theme: “For Peace, Security, and Development.”
The session was attended by a number of heads of state and government, along with the leaders of the participating delegations.
The summit will discuss ways to develop economic cooperation between the two sides, with a focus on the areas of trade, investment, health, infrastructure, energy, technology, and education, thereby contributing to supporting development and strengthening mutual interests.
The first Russia-Africa Summit was held in the Russian city of Sochi in October 2019, while St. Petersburg hosted the second edition in July 2023.
