Mauritania’s Ambassador to Mauritius Presents Credentials

His Excellency Mr. Amedi Camara presented his letters of credence on Monday in Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius, to His Excellency Mr. Dharam Gokhool, President of the Republic of Mauritius, accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Republic of Mauritius, with residence in Pretoria, South Africa.

Following the ceremony, President Gokhool received the Mauritanian diplomat, who conveyed the warm greetings of His Excellency President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, along with his best wishes for the health and well-being of his Mauritian counterpart and for continued progress and prosperity for the Mauritian people.

For his part, President Gokhool asked the Ambassador to convey his greetings to President El Ghazouani, highlighting the strong and special ties between Mauritius and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
