President of Republic Congratulates German Counterpart

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, sent a congratulatory message on Friday, to His Excellency Mr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, President of the Federal Republic of Germany, on the occasion of his country’s National Day.

The text of the message is as follows:

“Your Excellency,

On the occasion of your country’s National Day, I am pleased to extend to Your Excellency my warmest congratulations and to wish the friendly German people further progress and prosperity.

I also reaffirm our commitment to continuing our efforts to strengthen and develop the existing cooperative relations between our two countries in the interests of our two friendly peoples.
