Minister of Islamic Affairs Receives UNODC Sahel Programme Coordinator

Ould Ahmed Louly, received in audience on Friday in Nouakchott the Regional Coordinator of the Sahel Programme for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Ms. Monika Hillebrand.

The meeting provided an opportunity to examine aspects of cooperation between the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Traditional Education and the UNODC. The two parties reviewed areas of joint action, as well as ways to strengthen and develop them to serve shared objectives.

This meeting falls within the framework of strengthening coordination and cooperation between the two parties and exchanging views on issues of common interest.
