Foreign Minister Receives French Ambassador

On July 27 in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, received H.E. Mr. Emmanuel Besnier, Ambassador of the French Republic to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the cooperation and partnership relations between the two friendly countries and discussed ways to further strengthen and develop them in line with their shared interests. They also exchanged views on several issues of common interest.
