President of Republic Awarded Highest Honor of La Francophonie Parliamentary Assembly

The Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie awarded the President of the Republic, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the “Thuraya” Medal, the highest distinction granted by the Assembly.

The award ceremony took place at the Presidential Palace in Nouakchott in the presence of Mohamed Bemba Meguett and a high-level delegation from African and Francophone parliaments, including the speakers of the Chadian and Ivorian parliaments, as well as the deputy speakers of the Moroccan and Francophone parliaments.
