On 13 April in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lemine, the Minister of Interior, Decentralization, and Local Development, held a working session with Ms. Sylvie Bertrand, the Regional Representative of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) for West and Central Africa.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review the areas of cooperation between Mauritania and the United Nations, particularly in drug control and crime prevention, and to explore ways to strengthen and expand them.
