Food Security Commissioner Returns From Côte d’Ivoire

On 5 February, Ms. Fatimetou Mint Khattri, Food Security Commissioner, returned to Nouakchott from Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

During her stay in Abidjan, she represented our country at high-level consultations organized in partnership between the World Food Programme and the African Risk Capacity Group on February 3 and 4, on addressing food risks in West Africa by seeking sustainable solutions to strengthen the resilience of African communities and establishing an effective mechanism to address disaster-related risks that negatively affect the living conditions of populations in West African countries.
