On 3 February, Prime Minister Mokhtar Ould Djay attended the opening session of the World Government Summit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The summit, themed “Shaping the Future of Governments,” brought together a prestigious group of heads of state and government, decision-makers, and experts from around the world.
The World Government Summit aims at developing common strategies and visions to improve government performance and strengthen international cooperation. It also seeks to provide practical and effective solutions to growing global challenges through a diverse program featuring in-depth debates and discussions on current global and regional issues.
The summit’s activities include more than 445 sessions with the participation of over 450 speakers, including presidents, ministers, decision-makers, and experts, as well as more than 700 CEOs of major global institutions and companies, 87 Nobel Prize winners, and other prestigious scientific award winners, as well as representatives from over 80 international and regional organizations, academic and research institutions.
