The Senegalese national team won the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations title after defeating the Moroccan national team 1-0 in the final match held this evening, Sunday, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat.
After the two regulation halves ended in a goalless draw, the Senegalese team scored the first goal through Bamba Gaye in the 93rd minute, with a powerful shot that beat goalkeeper Yassine Bono, giving his country the African Cup for the second time in its history.
