Economic Affairs Minister Receives UNICEF Representative

On 13 January in Nouakchott, Mr. Abdallahi Souleymane Cheikh Sidiya, Minister of Economic Affairs and Development, welcomed Mr. Elkebir Mdaghri Alaoui, Resident Representative of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Mauritania.

The meeting reviewed ways to enhance cooperation between Mauritania and UNICEF, particularly in supporting development policies aimed at vulnerable groups.

The two sides also outlined mechanisms to accelerate the implementation of joint programs that align with the government’s strategic objectives of accelerated growth and shared prosperity.
