Minister of Foreign Affairs receives a Copy of the Credentials of the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Nouakchott/16/December/2025 (MNA) – , the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzough, received today, Tuesday, at his office in Nouakchott, His Excellency Mr. V, the new Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the Minister received from the Azerbaijani diplomat a copy of his credentials, in his capacity as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
The copy of the credentials was presented in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Cheikh Ould Ab Al-Tayeb, Ambassador and Director of Europe at the Directorate General for Bilateral Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad.
