Human Rights Commissioner heads to Geneva

The Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action and Civil Society Relations, Mr. Sid Ahmed Ould Ely Benane, left Nouakchott this morning, Thursday, for Geneva to participate in the 41st session of the Committee on the Protection of the Rights of Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families.

During this session, the Commissioner will present our country’s second periodic report on the implementation of the provisions of the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families.
