Human Rights Commissioner Receives GRDR Delegation

On 30 October, in Nouakchott, Mr. Sid’Ahmed Ould Bennane, Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action, and Relations with Civil Society, received a delegation from the GRDR organization (Migration, Citizenship, and Development), chaired by Mr. Jean-Marc Pradelle, president of the organization, and including the national director in Mauritania, Mr. Moise Lomba.

During the meeting, the Commissioner emphasized the importance of the partnership between the Commissioner’s Office and this organization, highlighting the need to strengthen cooperation across the various areas of the human rights sector’s intervention.

The GRDR president praised the Commissioner’s Office for its important role in strengthening the performance of civil society organizations, emphasizing that the Office is an essential partner for his organization.
