President of the Republic receives a Written Message from his Counterpart of Guinea-Bissau

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, received, this Wednesday evening at the Presidential Palace in Nouakchott, a written message from his brother and friend, His Excellency Mr. Umaro Sissoco Embaló, President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau.
The message was delivered to His Excellency the President of the Republic by the Prime Minister of Guinea-Bissau, Mr. Braima Camará.After the meeting, the Guinean envoy made the following statement to the Mauritanian News Agency:
“I am carrying a message from His Excellency, the President of the Republic, General Umaro Sissoco Embaló. As a special envoy, I have brought a message to convey to his elder brother, the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani. It is thus a great honor for us to be here to deliver greetings with much esteem and respect and to hand over the letter personally. Everyone knows the quality of the fraternal and supportive relations between Mauritania and Guinea-Bissau, which are brotherly countries, and we appreciate the support that your country provides to ours. I am here to express our gratitude to the President of the Republic who has done much to strengthen these relations.”
Attending the meeting were the Minister in charge of the Office of the President of the Republic, Mr. Nani Ould Chrougha, and the Special Adviser to the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Sidi Mohamed Ould Ghaber.
