Minister of Islamic Affairs Receives UAE Ambassador

On 18 September, in Nouakchott, Mr. Sidi Yahya Ould Cheikhna Ould Lemrabott, Minister of Islamic Affairs and Education, received Mr. Hamad Ghanem Al-Mehairi, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Mauritania.

The meeting explored various aspects of cooperation between the two brotherly countries and identified ways to further develop it, particularly in the fields of Islamic education and original education. The two parties also agreed to accelerate procedures for constructing the Chniguitty Mahadra university complex in Akjoujt.

In this context, the Ambassador reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to fulfill its promise regarding this project and pledged to ensure its swift completion.
