The Deputy Governor of Adrar, Mr. Sid Mohamed Ould Soueilem, stated in a speech on this occasion that the festival served as a model to be emulated in diligence, hard work, and giving back by delving into the cultural and folkloric heritage, reviving the legacy, He added that all these issues fall within the interests of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, and that the government of the Prime Minister, Mr. Mokhtar Ould Djay, is working to realize them.
He emphasized that organizing this type of festival plays a significant role in stimulating the cultural scene and giving young people the opportunity to compete, discover talents, and contribute to comprehensive development.recalling the resistance, and focusing on tourism, agriculture, and national unity.
And thanks to those responsible for this festival for their efforts that led to the desired success of this event.He also praised their work in the field of blood donation and supporting patients with kidney failure, as well as organizing the festival cup in football, weight throwing, and traditional games such as “Akroor”, “Sick”, and “Thamat”.The closing evening included religious praises, folk songs, sketches, poetry recitations, and the presentation of honorary certificates to some figures from the notables of Adrar state.Prizes were awarded to the winners of the championships that were part of the festival’s activities.
