The fourth edition of the African Trade Fair (IATF 2025) launched today, Thursday, at the Palais des Expositions in El-Madania, Algiers, under the slogan ‘Gateway to New Opportunities,’ with the presence of His Excellency President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani and several leaders of African countries and governments.

The exhibition, organized in partnership between Algeria, the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), the African Union Commission, and the Secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Area (ZLECAF), witnesses a wide participation including more than 2,000 exhibitors from around 140 countries, in addition to government officials, businessmen, and investors from Africa and beyond.

The exhibition aims to enhance African economic integration, support the implementation of the continental free trade agreement, encourage the flow of investments, and expand partnerships between the public and private sectors, in addition to enabling African companies to access continental and international markets. It also focuses on empowering entrepreneurs and startups, highlighting promising sectors on the continent such as agriculture, industry, energy, transportation, technology, and creative industries.

The exhibition program, which continues until September 10, includes a forum for trade and investment, an African car exhibition, national days to introduce economic opportunities, as well as cultural and tourism events, with expectations that the value of deals concluded during it will exceed 44 billion dollars.

IATF 2025 is expected to serve as a pivotal station for advancing the path of African economic integration and accelerating the continent’s economic transformation by bringing together decision-makers, financial institutions, companies, and investors on a single platform to promote cooperation and partnership.
