Foreign Affairs Minister Holds Talks With Palestinian Counterpart

On 29 July, on the sidelines of the High-Level Conference for the Peaceful Settlement of the Palestinian Issue in New York, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, held talks with Dr. Farsen Aghabekian Shahin, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the sisterly state of Palestine.

The meeting reviewed the distinguished cooperative relations between the two countries and the means of strengthening and developing them in the interests of the two brotherly people. They also exchanged views on various issues of common interest.
