Food Security Commissioner holds talks with German Ambassador

The Commissioner for Food Security, Mrs. Fatimetou Khattri, held talks on Wednesday in Nouakchott with HE Mr. Florian Rendell, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany accredited to our country.

The talks dealt with the existing cooperation relations between the two friendly countries and ways of enhancing and developing them, especially in the field of food security and strengthening the resilience of vulnerable groups.

During the meeting, Her Excellency briefed the German Ambassador on our country’s efforts in the field of food security and strengthening the resilience of vulnerable groups, through the package of social programs implemented by the Commission to enhance food security for citizens and support the resilience of vulnerable groups.
