Employers’ Federation President discusses strengthening Economic Partnership with South African Ambassador

The President of the National Union of Mauritanian Employers, Mr. Mohamed Zeine El Abidine Cheikh Ahmed, will receive today at his office in Nouakchott, HE Mr. Bakamseza Augustin Sifuba, Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa accredited to Mauritania.
The meeting comes within the framework of strengthening economic and trade relations between the private sectors in Mauritania and South Africa and opening new horizons for cooperation and partnership between businessmen in the two countries, in order to serve common interests and support economic integration at the level of the African continent.
During the meeting, the Ambassador expressed his thanks to the President of the Union for the good reception, stressing the importance of establishing a direct and sustainable relationship between his country’s embassy and the National Union of Mauritanian Employers, as a basis for activating trade exchanges and developing bilateral economic relations in various fields.
For his part, the President of the National Union of Mauritanian Employers praised the Ambassador’s endeavor to communicate with the Mauritanian private sector, stressing that the economy has become the main engine of development and the role of ambassadors in strengthening international relations through the economic portal.
He pointed out the importance of enhancing trade exchange between economic actors in the two countries, noting that economic integration between the countries of the African continent requires revitalizing bilateral relations and expanding areas of cooperation and joint investment, especially in light of the positive changes witnessed by the business climate in Mauritania.
