Minister of Social Action receives Chinese Ambassador to Mauritania

The Minister of Social Action, Childhood and Family, Ms. Safia N’tehah, received on Tuesday at her office in Nouakchott HE Mr. Tang Zhongdong , Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to our country.
Discussions between the two parties focused on ways and mechanisms to enhance joint cooperation between the two friendly countries in the fields of specialized education for children with disabilities, development of pre-school education, empowerment of women and protection of their rights.
The Minister welcomed the Chinese Ambassador, expressing readiness to cooperate in order to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries.
The Chinese diplomat praised the position occupied by Mauritanian women, reviewed the history of Sino-Mauritanian relations, and praised the development witnessed by the country during the reign of HE President of the Republic Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani.
The meeting took place in the presence of the Secretary General of the Ministry, Mr. Hamoudi Cheikhna Ali, and a number of sector supervisors.
