Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development receives the French Ambassador

The Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development, Mrs. Messouda Baham Mohamed Laghdaf, will receive on Thursday in her office in Nouakchott His Excellency the French Ambassador to our country, Mr. Alexandre Garcia, accompanied by Mr. Sofiane Akif, in charge of a mission at the Embassy.

The meeting dealt with enhancing bilateral cooperation in the fields of environment and sustainable development, existing partnership projects and prospects for developing them in line with national environmental priorities.

The meeting was an opportunity to exchange visions on ways to support joint efforts in addressing environmental challenges and promoting sustainable development.

The meeting was attended by the Technical Advisor in charge of Cooperation and Partnership, Mr. Mohamed Yahya Ould Lefdhal, and the Technical Advisor in charge of Communication and Environmental Education, Mrs. Nabila Dahmoud Merzough.
