President of the Republic before the Emergency Arab Summit: The Palestinian cause is the oppression of a people that does not accept compromise

In a speech delivered before the emergency Arab summit, held Tuesday in Cairo, His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, reiterated Mauritania’s permanent position on the Palestinian cause, considering it an issue of oppression of the people, the sanctity of sanctities, and the support of brothers, which does not accept compromise.

His Excellency stressed the need to do everything possible to unify the Palestinian word, work on the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, and improve the living conditions of the Palestinians in general, in order to strengthen their steadfastness, and pave the way for enabling them to fulfill their inherent right to establish an independent and sovereign state, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with the relevant resolutions of international legitimacy and the Arab Peace Initiative.
