Fisheries Minister returns to Nouakchott

The Minister of Fisheries, Maritime Infrastructures and Ports, Mr. Fadhil Ould Sidati Ahmed Louly, returned to Nouakchott on Monday at dawn from the Kingdom of Morocco.

 

During this visit, the Minister, together with the Moroccan Secretary of State to the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forestry, Ms. Zakia Idrouiche, presided over the second ordinary session of the Mauritanian-Moroccan Joint Committee on Fisheries.

The committee’s work culminated in the conclusion of several agreements between various departments and institutions between the two sectors.

During this visit, the Minister also attended the launch of the “Aliatis” seafood exhibition organized in Agadir, in which our country participated with a pavilion that was the subject of multiple visits by the delegations participating in this event.

The minister was accompanied by an important delegation from the ministry, federations and businessmen working in the field of fisheries
