President of Republic, Chairperson of African Union oversees Signing of $24 Million Financing Agreement Between Our Country and African Development Bank

On the sidelines of the Energy Summit in Dar es Salaam (United Republic of Tanzania), HE President of the Republic, Chairperson of the African Union, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazwani, together with the President of the African Development Bank, Mr. Esimi Adesina, oversaw the signing of a financing agreement between our country and this international financial institution
This financing amounts to 24 million US dollars, earmarked for the AOCAR Comprehensive Project and the development of livestock populations.
The agreement was signed on the Mauritanian side by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Sid’Ahmed Bouh, and on the African Development Bank by Mr. Mohamed El Azizi, General Manager for North Africa.
This project aims to develop basic pastoral, social and educational infrastructure and enhance pastoral resources to ensure the country’s food security.
